Turning knife CTAPR 0025 Q16
High-qualityfolding turning knife CTAPR 0025Q16 -Fixing SYSTEM "C" - positive or negative knife geometry.
Interchangeable inserts single-sided (insert application angle equal to 11°) or double-sided (insert application angle equal to 0°), square and triangular, with a flat contact surface, fixed on the contact surface by a screw head that presses the insert through a carbide chipbreaker laid on it. CTAPR 0025Q16 knives with inserts clamped in the "C" system are used for roughing (negative geometry) and finishing (positive geometry) of external surfaces and holes (positive geometry).
The "C" system is characterized by easy insert change and good repeatability of the blade position. The superimposed chipbreaker makes clamping more difficult, but gives the possibility to adjust the position of the chipbreaker edge.
